I'm sorry to say, but I haven't been out ice fishing all winter. For whatever reason, I've spent way too much time indoors reading or watching bad American television. I need spring, high water, and a good canoe!!

I went out today and pulled a decent Lake Trout through the ice, always a good time.

Yeah, you can't beat the quality control when you are the only one ever handling your food. Especially when there seems to be a new food scare happening every 6 months.

I dont hunt or fish very well, but i just love la mer... what she provides. I have only fished in the ocean, and would like to experience fresh water. I love the idea of hunting in rural areas. I know in AK and I'm sure many other areas ppl live completely by self sustinence means, like growing vegetables n fishing. I can't say if I would actually wanna hunt an animal... but i can dig it.
