Selling a SeaEagle 370 Deluxe inflatable double kayak if anyone is interested. Used it twice, held up great in shallow river water. $300 includes the kayak, 2 seats (can be used solo), 2 paddles, storage bag, air pump, patch kit. Living near the Milwaukee, WI area.

I'm dreaming of warmer weather. So, I decided to upload a photo of canoeing on the Mississippi River, just below St.Anthony Falls in Minneaoplis. For those not familar with the area, this in the old Stone Bridge in the heart of Minneapolis, just above the 35W bridge collapse site.

Kyle- I feel your pain! Like you, I see my boats on the rack in the back yard covered in a foot of snow and wonder when that first warm day will be! Hey, I'll settle for a semi-warm day with sun! For now, I'm X-country sking everyday here in MN.

To add to Kyle's -15 degree comment, it is also very sad that my new inflatable kayak hasn't even seen the light of day, let alone any water yet. That's the problem with buying toys in the middle of winter in the northern states. -1 w/o windchill today in sunny WI. My other kayak is also in the garage, just waiting for that first 45 degree day!

It is a terrible feeling to see my Kayak hanging in the garage everyday when I leave for work due to the fact that it hit -15 degrees last week.

I saw a bunch of people kayaking and such in the Delaware when I was hiking the Gap. It was actually hot enough that I was envious for a few moments. Then the breeze picked up.

We have waited all season for the Paddle Pedal and Canoe the Augusta Canal Event but it hasn't happened yet. It is a fun event and watch for the posting on their website ww.augustacanal.com.

We are also Geocachers and an event was sponsored down the canal August 8,2008. But we missed it. So we went on the ninth and created our own adventure. This was the first time without a support crowd and we did great. The put in and take out are nice and weekend friendly. We had two vehicles for that use so no problem there. Our float was just right about 7 miles and good water and at the end into Lake Olmstead a bit of strong arm needed to happen. We succeeded. And were so grateful we packed our lunch and put it in the right vehicle at take out. We were starving and managed to eat every morsel we packed. Loaded up our boats and went to get our truck at the put in.

About a three hour float without pushing it, but next time I want a dry bag and my camera to document. Missed capturing the water hyacinths, a great blue heron I could have touched, and several painted turtles sunbathing!

Awesome man, what kind did you end up getting? Where in the midwest? There's always the lead in rivers to Salt Lake.
