Since I'm going to start doing sections of the PCT this year, I figured this would be a good group to join. I live in Bend, Oregon and will be doing a couple short weekend trips this summer when the backcountry conditions are suitable for summer hiking and camping. I'm planning to do a longer, multi-day trip towards the end of September, either in the Mt. Thielson/Diamond Peak section or in northern California through the Marble Mt. wilderness.

It's a bit snowy on "my" section of the PCT but yes, I've got cabin fever something horrible.

Hi. I feel qualified to join this group because I got sucked into joining the PCT boosters organization. I give them money annually and they send me magazines. Nice magazines focused on hiking and improving the PCT. I've done a few legs of the trail and my dream is to do the whole thing before I'm too decrepit. My sections have been mostly south of Lake Tahoe, except near Downeyville, Ca , and generally in increments of 10 or 20 miles at a time.

So where have you hiked on the PCT? I have only one experience on the PCT - White Pass to Chinook Pass in washington
