Comment by Jesse DeMent on April 19, 2008 at 10:19pm - I have a 9 year old son that packs with me. This will be his first full season of backpacking. We car camped all last summer, 9 out of 11 weekends we were in sleeping bags. We just got back from our first overnighter and he had a blast. I look forward to hearing of others like us. Happy Camping....
