fire rainbow quick facts :

1) only form in cirrus clouds that are above 20,000 feet.
2) sun has to be at 57.8 degrees or more above the horizon
3) ice crystals in the cloud have to aligned exactly horizontally to the sun's rays
4) really a halo effect
