Just wondering if anyone else would be interested in hiking this with me! I've never been.
I hike pretty slowly, would like to do the whole loop in 3.5 days. I posted more details on my adventure group, but I don't think I'll get a really big res...

Hey, feel free to post any kind of events on the site you want. I haven't really used that feature too much, but figured it would be a nice addition. There are nice settings in there where you can make events both public or private and have people RSVP or just show up. Do anything you want with it. I'd love to see people meeting on here and doing some exploring together.
Hi Amy,
Based on your favorite outdoor website, I was introduced to Meetup.com. It is a great site to find people around my area to do stuff with. I never would have imagined about all the activities going on around me. Thank you very much.

LOL it was another member that told me about Ning & Hiker's Journal...a bunch of them are already on. We run through meetup.com and have activities just about every weekend....http://adventurers.meetup.com/47 good times, just another great way to meet people to do stuff with....:)
I'm going to OBX for some kayaking/surfing over labor day! looking forward to it.
Yeah, climbing can definitely give you a scare and it does at every opportunity it gets. That is all part of the fun, trusting your partner on a lead climb. Sport climbing and top roping is a bit more stable and takes some of the fear out of it.
But yeah Nelson, Champe, and Seneca are all awesome and beautiful WV formations that make the sport worth picking up in the first place. I was thinking about trying to get down to Seneca again around labor day or such.
So whats this adventure group all about? You should try and infulence a few of them to get on here.
Thats fricken crazy. I was there for memorial day as well. We climbed Ecstasy , EJ, Old mans, old ladies, and a few others. It is an awesome place to climb and beautiful as well. I definitely plan on going back in the near future. Who do you climb with normally?
Whats up Amy? I'm from NJ originally and live in PA now. Where do you go rock climbing at and there is a group created for climbing, kayaking, and many others. Hope you're enjoying your summer. Shenedoah is beautiful.
