The time is coming to start my exploration of Nova Scotia as we are recently moved from the UK where I never seemed to have the time to hit the trails. Lots of plans for this year to get out and explore both on foot and by Canoe and ATV. Looking forward to April when the snow will melt and temperatures will rise to allow some comfortable back country access.
Really looking forward to trying out my new Hennessy hammock currently undergoing comfort tests in the basement.

I actually prefer wild camping. Let me know when you would be interested in a small winter camping trip. 9-Mile River is about an 7km hike which starts at the Indian Lake Golf Course. It is quite nice and tranquil, especially for being 10 minutes outside Halifax.

If you are ever interested in a winter camping trip, let me know. I usually frequent Kejimkujik or 9-Mile River. I have never gone camping in the Musquodobit area, but I have heard the old rail trail is quite nice.
