I like the sunset photos!

His name is Sampson and he's the family pet. When he was younger I put packs on him and he'd at least carry his own dog food. Now he goes along and can't wait to curl up beside my sleeping bag close to the stove!

Ed, great new pics on Lake Superior. Were these taken on the Minnesota or Wisconsin side. The caves are amazing. I got to experience them on a 5 day trip on the Apostles back in 05. Thanks for sharing.

Why thank you EdBear, I am biased of course, but I love BC and think its one of the greatest places on earth, we have pretty well everything here in one province. to the west there is the coast line, Vancouver Island has the westcoast trail. want to tackle that this summer. then the interior has mountain ranges and many wonderful parks to explore. we have orchards, vineyards. up north we have the more rugged terrain and the great northern mosquitos. lol beware of those, they can carry ya away. take care an happy trails.. :) cheers!

Fairbanks? A bit damn cold and dark there right now I'm guessing. Any of those duplexes I built up there in the 80's still standing? South suburbs, building tomorrow's guettos today

Oh no you don't have to do all that. I was just wondering cause I live in GA.. I actually just did Springer Mountain is was so pretty.. I'm a new inexperienced hiker... But I really do love it... I was actually thinking in May or June going to Maine cause the weather should be great and it will be very pretty....
