Megan responded to my message explaining what happened. The trip she attempted did not go to plan as nature seldom ever does but her partner got injured and the storms were bad enough for her to call it and prepare better for the next time around....

Last word I got was she had decided to do the trail southbound. The poison oak was bad enough it kept her off the trail too long and the desert was too hot. Her plan is to hit the desert in Oct. when hopefully it's cooler. I haven't heard anything...

As many of you know our very own M3GAN is thru hiking the PCT this year. I've been trying to keep in touch with her as she goes and will try to keep everyone updated as best I can. She had planned on an April 1st start but ended up starting a day ...
