Decision on which section of PCT I'll hike this year.
After poring through the northern California and Oregon/Washington PCT guides, I have decided to hike the section of the PCT between Highways 140 and 138 in Oregon (Section C). It goes through the Sky Lakes wilderness and Crater Lake National Park. Spending time gawking at the Lake isn't a priority, as I live within 2 hours of it and have already visited once before. The views are great but I'm not a fan of spending time in a visitor's center or around crowds of people when I'm on a hiking trip.… Continue
