Its a festival celbrating Appalachian Trail hikers past persent and future, as well as the clubs who maintain the trail. Its where hikers meet again those whom they first met on the AT. Its a good ol' time in Southwest VIrignia!

Hey Johnny. I met you a couple of years ago at the last FT conference they held at Umatilla. I was the one who forgot my sleeping bag for that cold windy weekend!
I haven't done the Ocean to Lake Trail, but I did hear a lot of good things about it at the Big O Hike last month. I guess it's not quite complete, but is supposed to be a fantastic hike. I'd like to give it a whirl sometime this coming year though.
Hey Johnny!
Love the books, I'm reading Canoeing and Kayaking Florida at the moment. Your Florida Trail thru-hike narrative was fantastic as well!
I'd love to hook up with you at some point when you are adventuring here in Florida.
Hey Johnny, I just grabbed your name off the homepage, shrunk it down to 150px width, stuck it over there ---> and linked it back to your site. Let me know what you think. I'd be happy to change it out for something else if you'd like.
Hey Johnny, thanks for joining! If you wanted to provide me with a 150x150 logo for your website, I'd be happy to put it in the "Hiker's Journal Friends" box to the right.
